The school is funded by the state government and managed by the District Administration through the District Welfare Officer, Gajapati. This School is residential & Co-Educational in nature having class range from Std. VI to XII.

Residential schools of SSD Department is committed to the development of the tribal children availing residential schooling facility. They will be provided free food, clothing and boarding apart from free education, thus relieving the impoverished parents from the huge burden of meeting these basic needs of the children.
